# Guest Session

> Get to know more about guest session

Guest session is another type of user authentication. It allows users to perform some functionalities of a TMDB account without creating one.

For example, some of the things users can do with a guest session are maintain a rated list, a watchlist, and a favorite list.

   Guest session\_id will automatically be deleted if they are not used within 24 hours after being created.
